"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. There was issues with room requested one queen bed did not get got two twins instead did not say anything. My complaint about property was the manager the room was extremely hot and manager would not allow another key to improve this and stated she is saving the environment which I corrected this is not saving environment saving money only. "What we liked the best was the closeness to local market plus the options of different places to eat. The pool was great place to meet people. "

"The hotel does not have the '5-star wow factor' that other hotels further up the coast do, however the staff and location more than make up for this. It is located on a nice quiet stretch of the beach (that is not affected too much by the tide), and within a short walk to the small town which has many good restaurants and a few bars. The hotel was modern and clean with 5 good sized pools. The only downside was the sliding glass doors in the bathroom and the lack of sunbeds by the adult pool...

"It's position right on the beautiful Memories beach. The only thing I would say, maybe change the breakfast from day to day a little bit. We had 6days days of the same, it was all lovely and tasty but some changes would be welcome"

"I think I was lucky with my outward facing room, windows all around overlooking the jungle and hills and it was a big apartment too. It was quiet and I felt safe in all of Khoa Lak as a female on my own. All staff were friendly and I liked it was tucked away from the hussle but still walkable. Nice beaches near by. Food is ok for 3 star. Pools and beach were nice too and do close to a beautiful stretch of public beach. The only thing i would say for guests is to show then where their room is on...
