This hotel was absolutely stunning. Frankly, I am not used to the level of care we received. It is clear to me now why Layana is ranked the #1 hotel on the island. Absolutely gorgeous grounds, insanely good food, and top-notch attention to detail. Perfection!!

I loved this resort and wish we had spent more than one night here. I would describe the bungalows as minimalist but perfectly adequate for a stay in the islands where you spend most of your time outside anyway. They're also conveniently equipped with a well-sized mini fridge to cool your bottled water and yummy thai leftovers. We had a FANTASTIC time at Rayavadee! Throughout our travels in Thailand, we stayed at all 5 star hotels and resorts, but this was by far our favorite. The Ban Sainai was like staying on a tropical island. It is very spread out, but the staff were always ready to drive you from your room to the pool or reception area. The breakfasts were very good as were the meals at the pool. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and we spent plenty of time there. The resort has a regular shuttle schedule to take you to the beach. This was an awesome experience to stay at the Ban Sainai.

We enjoyed our one night stay! Everything was clean and very comfortable, and there were also nice touches like a stocked mini fridge. Very convenient area to walk to local shops/night market. Would gladly stay here again and recommend to other travelers!

We stayed at 7 hotels within 3 weeks on our honeymoon and this was our favorite. The room was quaint and felt so comfortable. The staff provided us some leftover pastries each night from the cafe downstairs. Parking is easy out front if you have a rental car. We also have to say: if you're staying here, make sure you go to dinner at the Tin Grill, two doors down for dinner at least once!

Such an amazing experience! This property is just steps to the beach and is staffed by some great people. Upon check-in I was easily able to rent a moped from the front desk for two days. Which I used to explore the whole island. Every time I came in or out of the property I was kindly greeted, which made it feel like home. We loved the hospitality! My husband actually got sick in the middle of the trip and had to go to the hospital. They were very accommodating, including picking me up at strange hours from the hospital, giving us extra food and water when we were resting, and making sure our room was cleaned in plenty or time.

Seafront bungalows are beautiful. Very spacious, clean and jacuzzi on porch. Nice amenities provided. Lots of restaurants in the area. Swimming pool is very nice.
