The beaches of #Khaolak are virtually unknown among visitors to #Thailand 🇹🇭, despite them being right next to Phuket. The area around the old Natai Pier gets a little busy around #sunset, but it’s almost always only locals. It’s a beautiful area and well worth checking out for a quiet #beach escape.

"This property is out of this world, a true hidden gem in Thailand! We booked it last minute as my partner wanted to escape Phuket, and we were so lucky to find this place further north. "The restaurant that is highly lauded in some reviews did not exist. Once there, the owner’s son tells me that they close the restaurant during the slow season….which was NOT disclosed when I booked. It’s in a very secluded area but a drive to restaurants about 15 mins away. There’s a restaurant next door, but the opening time depends on their mood, one day was 10am and next day was 11am. They were both weekdays. They don’t clean the rooms so I had to walk to front desk for new towels and water....
