Welcome to our OCEAN FRONT villa located in Shipwatch on Kiawah Island!! Walk into the open kitchen/living room with cathedral ceilings and tons of natural light overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. Flat screen SMART tv's in the living room and both bedrooms. Guest room has two full size beds with a balcony overlooking the beautiful beach and ocean. There is an on-suite full size bathroom. Owners Suite has KING BED, flat screen tv, two closets, full size bathroom, and a balcony with OCEAN VIEWS to enjoy the breezes!!

Shipwatch Villas are conveniently located in West Beach Village and within close biking or driving distance to Freshfields Village for your grocery needs, ice cream shop, boutique shopping, and dining! Please feel free to ask about the many activities available to you on the Island. I'm happy to help set up your perfect Kiawah getaway.

Perfect Fall Getaway

October is the best time to visit the beach. Crowds are gone, and weather is cooler. This condo has a perfect view of the beach, and Kiawah Island is one of the most beautiful places to visit. This condo was perfect for our trip to attend a wedding in nearby Mingo Point.

Fantastic property/location for family of 4

My family had a wonderful time at this property. Proximity to the beach is awesome—and the beach was perfect for my 9yo and 13yo. Cooked several meals in the kitchen, which is small but functional. We hope to come back!

Amazing view!

This property is great! Clean and simple, it allows for total relaxation as you stare at the beach from every room. I've stayed there twice and will continue to do so as I visit Kiawah.

Great location & views!!

This is a 2nd stay for us at this property. Beach views are awesome! Location is one of the closest to the Fresh Fields shopping center - so just an easy bike ride to get to the town center. Easy beach private access w/ little/no crowds. Would definitely stay again!!

We had such a great time at this little slice of paradise! The condo was well stocked with everything we needed, the location was perfect, and it was immaculately cleaned upon arrival. Caroline was amazing to work with, and the resort was so beautiful! We’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a girls' trip with my mom and two. daughters before school started. What we liked about the condo: -ocean view, close to the beach -master bed is super comfortable -building always had clean elevators and hallways -playing games in the family room -saw lots of baby sea turtles hatching

. The villa is beautiful with gorgeous views. Caroline was so easy to work with through the entire process. If I were visiting Kiawah again, this is where I would start.

Lovely view! Close to the beach, Sanctuary Hotel, and Fresh Fields. Everything was explained thoroughly. Kitchen was equipped with all the basics. Bed was super comfortable. Communication with property was fast and polite. What else can you ask for?

Kiawah Miles of Ocean Views

This place is remarkable!!. The best place we stayed at in Kiawah by far. The miles of ocean views are incredible. As well constant sound of waves crashing on the beach. The condo is very cozy and perfect for your Kiawah stay. Very quiet and respectful neighbors. The walk to the beach is very quick. So if you forget something at the beach you can relax cause it is steps away. Tbe walk is private for guests only is a nice touch.

I would absolutely recommend this listing to anyone. The view of the ocean was excellent and the balconies to see it from were very much appreciated. As landlocked people who wish we could live by the water it didn’t matter what the weather was because all we had to do was look outside to see the changes of the water and sky. Easy drive to Charleston. This was a wonderful place to stay and will stay again and again if it is in the stars to return.

Everything We Needed

Enjoyed our stay on Kiawah in this ocean front villa. Unit was clean, had plenty of starter supplies, very convenient location for us and the view was amazing from every room! Unit was very comfortable, tranquil setting with easy beach access (did I mention the amazing view!) and property contact was immediately attentive for our 2 minor calls. You do need to be prepared to make several trips to load/unload your belongings, but you can't go wrong staying here and hated to leave.

Relaxing oceanside

The drive to the island is great, oaks and moss make an amazing canopy for miles. The view from the condo is amazing, ocean as far as you can see. The pictures don't do it justice, the ocean is much closer than it appears. The outdoor furniture is comfortable and you can sit on it for hours and just watch the waves. The waves crashing into the beach lull you to sleep at night. We saw several deer running around in the brush while we enjoyed the porch. The condo was clean and has all the amenities you need to to cook if you wanted to cook. The owner was responsive to any questions that I had. Freshfields village is a short drive away and has various cuisines of restuaraunts and a nice grocery store. Charleston is a 40 minute drive away if you want to go for a visit. It was great to get away and relax.

Gorgeous villa, Excellent location!!!

I can’t say enough about this property and property manager!! We initially rented another villa on the island…walked in to cockroaches, ants and an overall pretty disgusting property. I quickly began searching for any other available properties. Caroline responded immediately and offered to adjust the availability on the calendar to accommodate our move over. Walking into this villa was more than a breath of fresh air..,the first thing you see is the absolutely GORGEOUS view of the ocean. Each room has an ocean front balcony. The villa was spotless and SO COMFY!!! There are beach chairs and sand toys-so convenient!!!! I was actually there for a conference and had no idea the villa was directly across from the conference center and pool…it was meant to be!!! Highly highly recommend…we had the BEST weekend. Thanks so much again for saving my family from a disaster!!

Great View/Location with Minor Issues

The ocean view and accommodations are very nice as described in other reviews. This condo is inside the gate of the Kiawah Island resort. We were unaware that we would have to pull over and go in the guard building. Security did not know we were coming but I did have reservation printed out so we finally got a car pass. The WiFi access didn’t work using the information provided but we finally accessed a non-secure site on second day. The manager was responsive in trying to help us. The dryers in the laundry room on 4th floor did not work. Unfortunately, and this is a common practice in a lot of rentals, there was no extra toilet paper or paper towels and only a big bar of soap to share between sink and shower in the bathrooms. Those kind of omissions just seem cheesy in such a nice, expensive setting. We did see the dirt moving next door for construction but heard no noise- it’s a pretty good distance. The condo has 3 oceanfront balconies. They are separated by solid walls with chairs for 2 on each. There is a beach chair rental guy right in front of the condo who put out chairs in the morning. Idk if those are reserved in advance. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked except for only having one dish towel. Minor issues and we would stay here again if in the area.
