You'll love this Oceanwoods Cottage as your home base while you explore everything Kiawah Island has to offer! Featuring a unique redesigned floorplan, you'll notice the inside of the home is filled with lots of natural light due to the added skylights over the large and open living area. When you're not out on a beach adventure, stretch out over a sofa while you catch up with some friends, or enjoy a beautiful scenic view with a cocktail out on the back deck. The cottage is just 300 yards from the beach, so be sure to take the kids out to explore some nature - Kiawah has all kinds of beautiful marsh and dune vegetation for them to check out.

What’s nearby:
You'll have all the walking, hiking, and biking opportunities you can ask for, with over 10 miles of beach and 30 miles of trails that cover the island. Don't worry if you get hungry along the way - some of the bike trails will drop you right into Freshfields Village, around four miles away, for some great dining and shopping. Night Heron Park on Kiawah has plenty of playgrounds and green spaces for the family to enjoy, not to mention basketball courts and other family-friendly spots. Within a 25-mile drive, you'll be in downtown historic Charleston where you will find lots of great activities like shopping, fine dining, local history tours, and lots of amazing art exhibits, live music, and farmers markets.

Lovely spot down quiet Eugenia Avenue. Comfortable beds (except the twin beds need an upgrade for adult use), nice showers, close to the beach, well-appointed kitchen. Brought back lots of memories growing up in the neighborhood.

This is fabulous location and a really cute, newly updated house. It has everything needed to enjoy a great stay. The general cleaning was done but a deep clean is needed. We would definitely stay again.

We have been renting this property for one week every August for over 5 years. It never disappoints us. Each year something else has been upgraded. It is obvious the owners take great pride in their home.

The property was as advertised - a pretty, comfortable little house with amazingly convenient beach access. Earlier criticisms about the beds/pillows and washing machine have been addressed. No complaints . It was great!

This cottage is absolutely darling!!! We loved the decor, the beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. Giant kitchen island was great! It was both spacious and cozy at the same time. Completely renovated, gorgeous furnishings and hardwood floors. Great showers in both bathrooms with great water pressure. A short walk to the beach was an added plus. Surrounded by some of the islands most gorgeous properties, it was fun to explore by bike and on foot. The Vasasa staff were extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage was immaculate! Super clean and comfy, we can’t wait to go back! The beds were so comfortable we slept in a little longer each morning. Loved all the cozy seating areas within the cottage. Very light and airy with the open floor plan, abundant widows and skylights. Absolutely loved every aspect of our vacation at this darling accommodation. Thanks for the wonderful trip spent in this beautiful home.

This house made our first stay on Kiawah very enjoyable. It was the perfect place for my family to have some downtime and explore the island. We enjoyed quick walks back and forth to the beach, a 15-minute walk to nearby Night Heron Park, and quiet evenings at the house cooking and relaxing. The entire property is well-appointed, bright, modern, and clean. I only wished that the yard and deck were tidier so we could enjoy that space more, though we stayed at just the tail end of winter/start of spring. We'll be back!

We so enjoyed our stay here - the house is in a great location and we would happily stay again. My only complaint would be that there are no beach towels and the supplies provided were very limited. We have been renting on Kiawah for years and have always been provided beach towels and there are usually chairs, beach toys, a wagon, etc. to borrow. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that none of these items were at the house so we could pick some up on our way to the island so we didn't have to waste precious vacation time tracking them down! Other than that, everything was great!

The house is roomy and clean. The beds are comfortable and is very conveniently located close to the beach. We loved the screened porch and spent a great deal of time out there. The only drawback to this property is that it is managed by a corporation and did not offer many amenities of a private home. They wanted to charge me $25 dollars for extra towels PLUS a delivery fee despite an email stating that the unit had 2 towels per guest. Also my family likes to occasionally cook while on vacation and most VRBO homes have basic spices and such. This house was bare! (Just keep it in mind if you want to cook, pack or buy everything!) Overall, nice house in a great location.

5 day stay here at this gem of a place. The owners have done an incredible job decorating and designing this home. One of the cleanest and well equipped homes we’ve used in Kiawah (rented 8 different places here over the years). Would highly recommend.

This was our second time staying in March. We enjoy this house for its clean and inviting interior and close proximity to the beach. The photos represent the home very well and we were happy to see the outside had been spruced up a bit this year. Convenient bike racks out front made renting and enjoying this amenity easy for us. I'd love for the deck area to be a little tidier, but other than that, this place is pretty much perfect for our small group of family and friends.
