Beautiful room upstairs in the alcove with sitting area. Temperature perfect Loved the spa facilities, like the pool the sauna the steam baths Dinner was absolutely delicious and breakfasts really good with huge variety We made use of the bar as well, which has a nice variety of drinks

Not a family friendly place

We have stayed with hotel Birke last year, which was good. This time however, the experience was very bad. We received a room, where there must have been some admin or the like above. There was a constant movement and the noise was very loud, which made it hard for us to fall asleep. Once asleep, we had the weirdest experience, as a man (likely an employee) barged in our room in the middle of the night. This woke my wife and made her very scared. He ran away and we barricaded the room for the rest of the night. When we talked with the staff about this the following morning, they of course apologised and said it could have been a staff person who entered wrongly. Also the staff in the pool, a gentleman was not really that friendly when he corrected our child, which was being very considerate in the pool. In general the hotel gives a vibe that it has some good/upper class, but in reality the experience was very bad. This is a shame as we had gotten a good expression last year, but this time it was just bad.

Hotellet skulle ligge i forbindelse med et indkøbscenter, det lå 2 km væk. Restauranten på stedet var meget dyr og kan forstå exklusiv. Værelset var ok, ingen mulighed for at lave kaffe.

Dejligt hotel med lækkert spamråde

Imødekommende og venligt personale. Det var rart at de kunne tale engelsk - mit tyske er slet ikke godt nok. Flot hotel. Hotelværelset fint. Lækker morgenmad- når der var mange mennesker om morgenen var det svært at komme til buffeten. Der opstod et flaskehalsproblem. Vi spiste i hotellets restaurant 3 gange. Maden var virkelig god. Spaområdet var lækkert og der var åbnet til kl 22.00. En rigtig dejlig oplevelse. Vi vil gerne tilbage. Vh Leila

Lugt på værelset

Vi fik et værelse, hvor min kone straks bemærkede det våde gulvtæppe, mens jeg var mere optaget af lugten. Der stank af puha. Jeg gav ungerne skylden, men lugten forsvandt ikke. I receptionen tilbød de håndklæder til at opsuge spildt vand fra rengøringen. Men problemerne forsvandt aldrig. De glemte os, så vi udstod problemet, da det kun var to korte dage. Derudover er hotellet fra en ældre tid, og vi var heller ikke imponeret af spa-afdelingen eller morgenbuffetten. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit einer Empore und Treppe. War super für 3 Erwachsene und 1 Kind. Auf dem Zimmer wartete bereits eine Tasche mit Handtüchern für den SPA Bereich und Bademäntel. Das Personal war mehr als freundlich.

Super hyggeligt serviceminded hotel lidt udenfor Kiel Centrum i rolige omgivelser. Fint stort handicap værelse Morgenmads buffet var super lækker og aftensmad vi bestilte var frisk lækker fisk mm. Pool og infrarød sauna var skønt

Wir hatten wegen einer Familienfeier eine Übernachtung im Hotel Birke. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeit aber leider ist der Parkplatz für Hotelgäste nicht inkludiert. Sehr schönes ruhiges Zimmer. Sauberes Bad. Freundliches, höfliches Personal. Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Abendessen sowie ein schönes Frühstück. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Spabereich, den wir leider aus Zeitgründen nicht ausprobieren konnten. Wir können das Hotel Birke wirklich sehr empfehlen.
