Staff: the best asset and selling argument

One thing that will make me go back to Chez Lando is the front desk staff readiness to support and the restaurant staff eagerness to serve and accommodate my requests! Definitely, the best assets this hotel has is their staff. Love the calmness of the hotel, how “green” it is and how clean it was…but those aren’t exceptional…the staff are!

Fantastic theme "Villa Garden Paradise very romantic ❤️" Laid back and very relaxing and friendly, birds, bees, flowers 🌹💐 and beautiful trees. Hotel Chez Lando has them all. And it's very family friendly or a romantic haven all in one!! The only recommendations I can suggest, are changing the lighting fixtures to led in the rooms with mood settings. And installing window curtains or privacy glass on the bathroom windows, at least on the first floor,. Thanks for relaxing and tranquilly pleasant stay. Kudos to you and best regards WES

The location is great, centrally located and within walking distance to many restaurants, Questions Coffee, and the craft market. The only drawback is it’s rather loud at night with street noise. But other than that they are great.

Basic room with no fan or AC

Very nice staff and convenient restaurant. Room was very basic. Biggest complaint is that there was no fan or AC, or mosquito net (thankfully a net was not needed). Hallway was bit loud at night.

When I checked in, I was sent to general room - a finally got the room I paid for. Also, everything is great (but noisy) except the restaurant has terrible service- 1 hour to get food and hard to get staff to get/pay bill

I was disappointed with their shuttle service. I reserved my room and requested for airport pickup but none of their staff was at the airport to pick me up. I had to incur additional expenses to hire a taxi from the airport to the hotel of which there was no refund or remorse from the hotel management.

This was my third time there; but my worst. There was a foul smell from the room and some smell of dust. Breakfast was beyond par. I have had better days. When I asked to be considered for an upgrade on VIP status and also just being third visit, the email was ignored.

Very friendly staff here. Room had television that wasn’t working first night. They changed the box but as it runs on the broadband as that was dreadfully slow the television still wasn’t any good. No air conditioning in this hotel so make sure the curtains are closed to keep the temperature down during the day and it will then only be very warm instead of too hot at night. Service in the restaurant not very quick, but portion sizes generous and the cost of meals is very reasonable. They do tend to use a fair bit of salt with their vegetables so bear that in mind. Used the laundry service and shirts came back immaculate and nicely ironed for less than £1 each, ridiculously cheap and saves a job when you come back. Single glazing so plenty of road noise and they do like to use their horns in Kigali so something to be prepared for.

This was an incredible hotel to stay in! Great location in Kigali, beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The dining options were wonderful as well. I highly recommend it! Airport pickup and drop off was a plus!
