Aloha! When you rent this condo, you will be renting from me, Kevin. I own, manage and maintain this property. The pictures are recent and accurate. What you see is where you will be staying. I am the person who answers your questions and assists you if needed. I do not shuffle you around to different units; the one you are seeing is the one in which you stay. If you have a question on a Saturday, you will receive a response from me and not have to wait until Monday. I live 5 min. away so reach out if you have a question. I make sure you have the highest quality Maui stay.

This studio condo is quiet, clean and a holiday retreat with a mountain view. Within walking distance of two great restaurants; Monsoon, an excellent Indian restaurant and Isana, for fish and sushi. The studio is on the 2nd floor, located at 715 S. Kihei Rd. (Kihei Bay Surf), #216. This complex is a small boutique resort across the street from the beach and Kalepolepo State Park. Turtles come on shore to the park and its 500 year old Hawaiian Fish Pond to sleep at sunset.
The condo has bamboo and tile flooring. The lanai view of Haleakala, a perfect spot for morning coffee. The complex is well lit for safety. A keyless entry system on the door, with a rotating code, allows for secure contactless entrance whenever you arrive.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the larger tourist filled condos and book with me. Kihei Bay Surf has only 118 units and is in a private setting. You will enjoy the lovely Hawaiian gardens and view from your very own private lanai. A BBQ area, a pristine swimming pool and hot tub, the Humpback Whale National Marie Sanctuary across the street, as well as 3 mile beach and close to one of the largest stretch of sandy beach on Maui, perfect for sunbathing, strolls, swimming, jogging water sports such as kite boarding and surfing, and so much more! Catch a whale watch cruise from Maalaea Harbor (during season), just a 10 minute drive form our home!

Make your friends jealous. Selfies on a Zipline through a tropical plantation, snorkeling with turtles or at 10K feet above it all on top of Haleakala! Maui is our home. Contact us for more Maui activity ideas. We can make suggestions; whale watching, island hot spots, dine with celebrity chefs, car rental and seasonal events.

I'd recommend booking the night on the last day of your stay if you have a later flight. It is so much easier to leave from the condo rather than wonder where to sit all day until your flight boards.

What guests have been saying: "clean", "centrally located for Maui sightseeing", "close to shopping and restaurants", "quiet, safe and secure".

Recommendations: I would rent a car. The Island is big and you'll need one to site see and shop. Bring snacks and drinks, picnics are the way to enjoy every day's excursion.

Beaches: Sugar Beach is one of the best on Maui, across the street and 6 miles of white sand awaiting your footprints.

Great location

This property is ideally located. Easy to get to restaurants and snorkel gear rental places. There is a great snorkeling and turtle park directly across the street from the property. Plus there’s a nice hot tub which is heated just right and a pool. We also appreciated the fact that the owner has provided two beach chairs and a cooler for for your use.

8 day stay in Maui

Very nice apartment, comfy bed, upscale kitchen with plenty of pots and pans. Convenient location with shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to all parts of the island. The beach across the street is not great but really nice beaches are only a 15 minute drive away.

Great Central Maui Location

Had an awesome experience on Maui. The location was very central to the entire island making it very easy to see everything on our list. The beach across the street was great for evening sunset walks. The condo was clean and stocked with everything we would possibly need. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect and Clean

The location of Kevin's property is perfectly close to the beach, food, and grocery stores. It is just a short drive out to other cities and airport. His property has a great pool area and free parking! We loved how well stocked it was from the kitchen to the bathroom and the water toys and even a cooler to use. It was very clean a perfect amount of space for our family. Kevin communicated with us right from the beginning of our booking. He made the check in and check out process a breeze! Will definitely want to stay here again when we are in Maui! Thank you Kevin!! 5 Stars for sure!

Clean, well equipped, 2nd floor apartment across from a park with clean beach. On-site laundry, pool, hottub, sunbathing chairs, bath towels, beach toys and quiet at night. Perfect for a small family (we had a toddler and child) and were able to use the pull-out couch without issues. We rented a crib from a local business and it worked very well. The apartment had clean dishes, pay-it-forward items in the fridge and cupboards along with bathroom supplies. Wifi was reliable and fast for two smartphones with strong signal on the balcony.

Our stay was perfect! It started before we even arrived with amazing communication from the owner. We were worried about coming to Maui after the recent fires but were reassured that we should still come and we were so glad we did. The condo had everything we could think of needing and then some. It’s centrally located to anywhere you want to go on the island and also close to numerous restaurants and shops. There is also a great beach within a 5 minute walk where you can see sea turtles at sunset. We really appreciated the beach chairs, pool noodles, and cooler that were provided. Kevin was even kind enough to help me surprise my husband for his 50th birthday. We will be back and are already looking at dates to see when we can return!

Perfect Getaway Spot

Back for the third time I absolutely love Maui and of course I always look forward to staying here in Kihei at Bay Surf and I must say it was overall amazing once again. Like I’ve mentioned before in my past reviews this place is fully equipped with everything you can possibly need during your stay. The place is very clean and well kept and Kevin is amazing makes me feel welcomed every single time. Maui just has so much to see and do I just can’t get enough. Always a new journey and that’s what makes it so much more memorable. Despite the volcano eruption in Kilauea, Maui was not affected. My family enjoyed the different beaches, those plunging waterfalls, and that drive to Hana with the highway surrounded by the beauty of islands. I was all over Maui during my stay and saw no impact from Volcano on the island which was good news to my family and myself. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you for everything.

Fabulous Condo in Paradise!!!

Our stay at Kevin's condo was fantastic, right from the time we arrived (to a condo so clean you could eat off the floor and the air conditioning already going for us) to the time of our departure! The condo is centrally, and conveniently, located - you are close to everything including a beach (directly across the street) grocery stores, restaurants, gear rental shops, etc. The condo itself was extremely clean; and, it has everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable, from a fully stocked kitchen, to a cooler, beach umbrella and boggy board. The AC is coolest when you keep the ceiling fan turned off - we had no trouble sleeping through the warm nights! The pool/hot tub/BBQ area was a bonus; it was very clean and very well maintained - we enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a long day at the beach/in the sun. There is laundry on-site ($1.50 for a wash and $1.00 for a dry) which was convenient given we were there for a week. Kevin provides a laundry basket and there is some detergent and dryer sheets also there! (Great perk!!) Kevin was a super host - VERY prompt to respond to all of our inquiries and made us feel especially welcomed. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Kevin on our next trip to Maui! My family and I loved this location! It was four of us and we were pretty comfortable. Bed was fabulous better than expected. Bathroom is a little tight, but was grateful for the extra space near the bathroom - I have a daughter and it was nice to get ready at the same time. Our space was equipped with broom, vacuum, swifter mop, laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, dishes utensils, pots pans and everything you need to BBQ. ( I did stay for 15 days and it was nice to have to tools to stay clean). Washer and dryer room was decent I loved using the app! It had everything a traveling family would need down to playing cards. This mommy was a happy camper for sure! We appreciated the bottle of water it definitely came in handy! Hot tub and pool was fabulous its was nice to have after running around the island all day. Kevin our host was tentatively awesome ! He made sure to check in and made sure we had all we needed. I can’t forget the people who live there! So much Aloha ! It was so nice to visit home and to share it with such amazing ppl who live there! I will be sure to stay at this location every year!
