I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was extremely disappointing and did not match the listing at all. The only positive aspect of this property was the view from the balcony.The cleanliness and condition of the unit were very misleading. The floors were dirty, cracked, and in poor condition—we even cut our foot on the floorboards, which is unacceptable. The “newly remodeled” kitchen was also not as advertised, with misaligned cabinets, a dishwasher that didn’t work, and an unfinished island that was sticky to the touch.The AC unit was excessively loud in every room, making it difficult to sleep. Speaking of sleep, the bunk beds were broken and literally held together with duct tape. They were not safe for children, and no one felt comfortable using the top bunks.We also encountered bugs and geckos in the kitchen, which added to the overall lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The exterior of the building was also misleading compared to the listing photos.The towels provided were stained and had holes in them. To make matters worse, after our stay, the owners attempted to charge us additional damage fees, which was very concerning given the pre-existing condition of the unit.Lastly, the pool rules were not disclosed beforehand. It appears to cater primarily to quiet water aerobics—no jumping, no balls, no floaties allowed—which was enforced by security. This was very disappointing for a family stay.Overall, this property did not meet basic expectations.
