"The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff on reception was very friendly and the night porter was great when we needed access after midnight as had to pop out to do a pickup from the airport. Breakfast in the morning was a fantatstic selection, we got down early so everything was very fresh and breakfast staff was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything, will definitely be returning for another nights stay! "

"The room was towards the back of the hotel, as requested, to reduce noise. Really well proportioned with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Good bathroom, nice hot shower. Room, and hotel in general, all super clean. Staff were excellent throughout! "

"What an amazing stay!! The manor house and entire property are awe inspiring. Jean greeted us with a huge smile and a ton of lovely history about the property. Luxury linens and a very quiet surrounding proved a wonderful nights sleep. A hearty an abundant breakfast awaited us in the morning. "What a unique experience! Cozy inside with a charming wood burning stove to keep warm. Well stocked kitchen. Does have some spiderwebs & occasional crawlies (only mentioning because we have a squeamish child with such things). Quiet location but close enough to town for restaurants, etc. Would recommend!"

"Great hotel for my one night stay. Pleasant staff and the bar food was good. Only downside was the free parking in the Asda multi storey about 100 metres away. There is however pay and display parking opposite the hotel. Overall a good experience."
