"A stunning Scottish baroque mansion in an idyllic setting. Beautifully designed in a sympathetic way but fit for modern times. Clearly, the owners have poured their heart and soul into making sure this experience will be unforgettable for the guests. Impeccable and friendly service. "We had a wonderful stay at Camus House. Our hosts were waiting for us when we arrived and welcomed us into the property and showed us our room, which was very comfortable and had an amazing view of the sea loch. The property is recently refurbished and the new owners are both very friendly and keen to make sure everything is perfect for their guests. "Had a lovely stay at Glengorn Guest House when visiting for the Royal Mòd. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy with an assortment of tea , coffee and some biscuits. I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations. "

"This place was amazing. Everything was top notch. Mike even made dinner reservations for us the day we arrived. Mike really knew how to make us feel special. When I fussed about not meeting his dogs they came bounding in for a quick hello. Would go back in a heartbeat. Oh, and the view was amazing. "

"This property was close to downtown Oban and had parking available. I would stay here again. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. "

"Very quiet which was exactly what we needed Close to the town centre , which meant i could enjoy a drink which is very rare for me . My partner complained the bed was too hard , i found it to be fine ( she just likes to complain ) Plenty parking round the back . Would definately return "

"No complaints at all. I was giving an upgrade on arrival to a room with a lovely comfortable four poster bed, with an amazing view. 5/10 minute walk to the city centre. Hostess was very welcoming. Will definitely stay again."

"The Perle Oban is a true gem. Conveniently located near the train and ferry centers, it’s central to everything Oban has to offer. The cooked to order breakfast is generous and the staff is warm and friendly. Sea views can’t be beat. This was my second stay and it was just as lovely as the first! "

Good stay in the Clary

"The staff are very friendly and welcoming the room was basic but clean and had everything we needed we had room 1 and the beds were small but very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a cheap no frills stay in Oban,also great location for ferry and train station."

So happy we booked again

"We were looking for easy access to the railway station and ferry port - Pierrooms could not have been closer to both. The room is small but we were so impressed with the overall cleanliness and comfort of the beds that we booked again for our return journey. The only improvement I would suggest is a small shelf for the top bunk."

"Great view. Comfortable room and was large, though not sure all are the same. Dinner was probably best of the trip, though you need reservations as they only seem to seat a few at a time. Bar was also nice. Had good weather so the deck was nice too. Included breakfast, but that didn't start until 8 which was too late for our schedule. You can walk down to the old ferry landing and also a trail along the water."
