"Staff welcoming and helpful. Some parking on site on first come first use basis. Breakfast and restaurant food was good. Location good allowed walking to main shopping area and attractions."
"Loved everything about room and location very clean, toilet a bit noisy probably just a problem in our room but it was a one night stay so tolerable. Would stay again."
"Upon arrival we were greeted by a male receptionist (hair tied up) he is lovely . He’s very friendly helpful and willing to help 10 /10.
The hotel is clean and welcoming. Our room was clean with plenty of room bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices the hot food was warm and I enjoyed all the items I chose. My only criticism is a lady wearing high heels who I think is maybe a manager took a telephone call it was clearly about work quite loud and continued to talk whilst walking to the top for toast etc. loud footsteps loud voice . we were on a break away from work so we didn’t want to hear work related issues . We just wanted to relax having breakfast.
The location of the hotel is excellent met all our needs . We really enjoyed our stay …. Until next time."
"The Moxy was brilliant for what we needed for our 4 night city break. A perfect location next to the river, not far from Cork airport by taxi and then almost everything in the city was a good walkable distance, some things only up to 10 minutes away. The hotel inside and out was modern and aesthetically pleasing, with a lovely fragrance running through the lobby and main areas. Our room was nice, not the biggest, but had everything we needed. The shower was really nice and the air-conditioning was amazing- nice and cold- we were there during an Irish heatwave! The only drawbacks about the room was the view wasn't wonderful but it didn't really bother us, and the bed was soft/a bit uncomfortable but that happens in pretty much any hotel I go to so is probably just my issue! The staff at the Moxy were just brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. They were happy to help with anything you need. They were particularly accommodating when I spilled a drink on our bed and they quickly had the bedding changed. The bar was nice where we had a complimentary welcome cocktail, that was such a lovely touch. Thank you Moxy for a really nice and welcoming stay in Cork, what a beautiful hotel and city you have!"
"I've stayed in this hotel many times when visiting Cork on business. Always book a balcony room as they are larger with great outside space to enjoy the view.
Rooms are large with all the usual, kettle, coffee machine, tea and coffee. Iron and board. Room safe and fridge.
Bathrooms are great, only downside is there isn't a separate bath and shower, as its a tight squeeze trying to have a shower the bath! Only other downside in the room is no aircon, on a normal irish summer not a problem but when it's hot could be an issue.
Dinner and breakfast is great and good value. Staff as always friendly."
"Superb hotel on all counts. The breakfast buffet was truly memorable, with delicious blood sausages and bangers to go along with eggs and coffee in the morning. The bar area was friendly and convenient, as well as the hotel restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance (3-5 mins.) of the bus station that can take one to the Dublin Airport (Lufthansa canceled my direct flight from Frankfurt to Cork, so I had to fly to Dublin instead, wherein I took a 3:30 hr. bus to Cork). It is also within walking distance of the Grand Parade, a vibrant cultural and historical center where there are multiple restaurants, pubs, stores, and places to visit. If I return to Cork, I will return to this hotel again, for sure."
"Room clean and larger size and the bed was large and comfy. The bathroom was a large size but the exhaust fan was not working or missing. Breakfast was very nice and lots of options.
Off road parking and while location was just out of city, you can easily catch bus from right outside, 1.90 euro to city."
