Top Kilkenny Hotel Reviews

The Club House Hotel

The Club House Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is large-scale, but despite its size, the level of attentiveness from the staff made us feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of travelling. Breakfast was excellent too. Everything was freshly cooked and served with a smile — a great way to start the day. Kilkenny itself is definitely a must-visit destination. It was our first stop on our week-long road trip around Ireland, and it was a fantastic place to begin our adventure. Plenty to see, a great atmosphere and lots of character. A brilliant start to what turned out to be an amazing road trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

Pembroke Hotel

Pembroke Hotel

8/10 Good
"Spent two night at the Pembroke which is very conveniently located and walkable to the sites of Kilkenny. Parking and drop off was not as simple as we would have liked because the road is very busy with limited access to unloading, while the parking lot is a five minute walk away around a couple of corners and up a small hill. Bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was fantastic. TV was oddly mounted on a fixed mount that offered a 45* view when sitting on the bed. Live TV did not work during our stay and the toilet seat was hanging on by a single bolt. The restaurant was good, offering several good options for an evening meal while the included breakfast was excellent - try the waffles and bacon! Staff were efficient and friendly throughout our short stay."

Launard House

Launard House

10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay @ Launard house! Sharon & Adam provided exceptional service & hospitality. This was the 11th lodging stop for us (Scotland & Ireland) and the first to have a top sheet & washcloths, which we appreciated as Americans. Sometimes it’s the little things!😃 We walked into town for dinner with dozens of great dining choices. Breakfast was delicious and we wish we could have stayed longer. "
