The hotel itself was great and offered an amazing made-to-order breakfast in the morning. The location is great as well, right near the Medieval Mile and close to Kilkenny Castle. My only complaint was the rooms did not have air conditioning, so it was uncomfortable sleeping.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was great to have a bar with live music too! The room was a bit dated. It was a little odd that when we walked in we had to go down about 4 steps to get to the bed and seating area. No AC and the window barely opened for air.

The location was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was included in the price. We also enjoyed the drinks and live music at the pub. The initial impression of our room was not great, as the carpet and some of the furniture were stained.

The hotel was amazing it was right in the middle of town. Very close to the Abbey, the tower, and the castle! It was my husband‘s birthday so they left us a card and chocolate bar as a gift. I think they may have even upgraded our room!
