Kilkenny castle and Butler family history was great
Kilkenny Castle is beautiful and very close!
"small" by California standards, but the food was exceptional - as were the people who took care of us. Great shopping district with garment options everywhere. The walks are gorgeous
Cute town. Good for one night stop between Dublin and elsewhere. Convenient for getting early start to Cashel and Blarney on the way to Killarney.
The Kilkenny Arts Festival is a wonderful event! I loved the medieval city feel and the Medieval museum.
