The house was more than adequate for our family of 9, and very convenient to all the OBX beaches, Wright Bros. Memorial, Roanoke Island, Fort Raleigh Historical Park, Bodie Island Lighthouse and beach, and so much more! The host was very helpful when we had a need (more laundry and dishwasher cubes), ...

John Yancey Oceanfront Inn
We had an ocean front room with a lovely balcony on the top floor (2nd) of the building. The room was good, but with no elevator, I definitely got my steps in carrying luggage up several flights of stairs. Breakfast was a standard continental menu. The check in and check out staff were friendly!

Shutters on the Banks
We didn’t get service on our room… 5 day stay.. even after requesting it. Flys everywhere…can’t kill them fast enough. That was annoying! Breakfast was mid… we were all set after going once
