Beach Getaway Apartment

Hotel style room with a local feel. The space includes: private entrance, large bedroom, full bathroom. The room has a microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge, towels, sheets, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, makeup cleansing pads. Beach chairs are provided. Perfect for a couples getaway. There is hot tub for you to use as well.
The apartment is on lower level of the house. Just a walk away to the most beautiful sunsets! If you enjoy riding bikes or running/jogging Bay Drive is a perfect location. If you decide to walk to the beach- only 7 min away and few minutes from the sound. The Bay Drive is the just a walking distance! It is such an amazing and peaceful neighborhood!

Great Weekend Getaway!

I really enjoyed my time in the outer banks! This is such a great and central location. I was able to walk to the beach and other walking trails, and a short drive from restaurants, etc. Host was very nice and inviting!

Great location!

This property is well located in a very quiet neighborhood. Just a short walk to the sound boardwalk with fabulous sunsets and about a 15 minute, easy walk to the beach! My fiance and I enjoyed our stay! The hosts very helpful. We will be back!

Cleanliness was exceptional and appreciated. Host communication was quick and helpful with exception of door code issue upon arrival which I’m sure was an honest mistake the host was very apologetic about. The owners were the sweetest people to talk to when encountered always offering and providing small things we might have needed. Great location for a weekend at the beach. The space has just what you need and nothing you don’t! The walk to the beach is fine, but I would recommend a beach cart for carrying your beach gear.

Great location to stay at. Restaurant right at the end of the street. Easy access to the beach to park on the side of the road. Would stay here again. Also hot tub was a must to ease the sore muscles from the beach. Hot tub was clean and maintained

The hometown feel

The place was cozy, well planned, and a very nice environment. The host was awesome. I wish we could have hung out more. The host provided all of the necessary amenities. The deck was very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Check in was very easy and the host was very clear with directions for the checking in and out. This was our first time staying in someone’s home with them. Wasn’t much privacy in the hot tub till it was later in the evening when the hosts husband wasn’t watching tv by the door of our room. The first night the hosts husband was yelling upstairs cussing about something. Other than those two things the stay was nice and the location was also nice.

Studio rental

This location was in the center of everything! We went to Hatteras one day and Corolla a different day. We spent 3 days at the beach! Clean, comfortable, and convenient location. Must eat at Henry’s on the corner and must do Tale of the whale for dinner. We also good the Wild Horse Tour! The owners of the studio were very friendly and it had everything we needed!

Close to Everything / Great Hosts / Great place

This was what my wife and I needed. This place is in the most perfect location! Couple minute walk your on the sound looking at a beautiful sunset. Couple minute drive the other direction you’re on the ocean! Average drive to all the great food 5 minutes I’d say at most. Hot tub was ready when we arrived. Everything clean and perfect. Check in and out couldn’t be any easier. Hosts are absolutely awesome. Outside area to hang out and drink coffee and relax. Already planning the next vacation here!

Perfect base for a beach getaway

We used the property as a home base for our main attraction - the beach - and it was perfect for this. The property was super lovely and cute, and served as a great air conditioned reprieved from the August heat. The neighbors cat Pablo paid us a visit and he was a wonderful co-host. The host herself made things super easy. She was super responsive to online messaging while not inserting herself into our vacation. Whether on purpose, or perhaps we were ships in the night, my partner and I appreciated the hands off-ness. The check in and out experience couldn't have been easier - there was practically none except making sure to throw out all of the garbage we produced. Would definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise.

Great for a weekend!

Two of us stayed for 8 days. Property was as listed except for two things: no water view and the pinned address on VRBO is incorrect. In fact we arrived at the wrong location after a very long and very hot car ride. This was not the fault of host, VRBO never sent address info. Suggest the host sends that info instead to avoid future mixups until VRBO fixes the issue. Overall the rental was nice and hosts were very nice. It was a bit tough staying for 8 days with only a microwave and mini fridge. We couldn't afford to eat at restaurants for too many meals and most grocery store meals are frozen, not much room in a mini fridge. Hot tub was serviced, clean and ready to go. Washing machine and dryer were not working and that was also tough for a longer stay. Lack of a kitchen or kitchenette means washing dishes in bathroom sink, utility sink would've been soooo helpful! Overall would recommend for shorter stays!
