"This was the BEST property in Ireland. I have stayed everywhere in the country and hands down trumps Doonbeg is the ONLY SAFE RESORT full of traditional IRISHNESS! I highly recommend this incredible resort to EVERYONE who comes to Ireland. If you’re looking for 12 star treatment, IRELAND, beauty, fun and safety this is the place to stay. The service is unmatched and the warm happy feeling you feel there is amazing. It’s so pleasant. The rest of Ireland is TRASH because of the government and destroyed tourism making everything into IPAS centers for migrant men driving down safety and running out Irish businesses. But not in Doonbeg, this property will have you feeling like you’re in IRELAND THE WAY ITS MEANT TO BE. "

"We arrived at around 2 pm and brunch was being served. We did not have reservations. The staff accommodated us and we waited in the bar with a delicious cocktail while our table was being prepared. The food was the best we had in Ireland so far and we ate a lot of wonderful food in Cong and Kilkenny. What a delicious treat. Hubby had 3 course I had 2 course. Hubby ordered the creamy seafood chowder the feathered beef served on mashed potatoes, came with fresh broccoli and carrots and I had chicken liver pate, roast of the day which was turkey on ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes served with crispy potato wedges, with a side of cranberry sauce. Yum!! We shared our first sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner. The prices are more than fair for a wonderful culinary experience. Our room had a view of the beautiful farmland with a horse or two. Very cozy and relaxing and we had no problem getting an Uber to the airport from there. This is the perfect place for your last night or even your first night in Ireland. I wanted to stay longer because it was so beautiful there. People were having fun eating with lots of laughter. "

"We loved our stay at Parkhouse B&B! It's in a lovely, quiet area just a short walk (a bit over 1/2 mile or a bit under 1 km) away from nice dinner options. We were without a car, so Sinead offered a ride, but we needed the walk after our flight. Bedroom was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious!"

"Loved this place! Proprietor could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Music was playing while we ate which was a nice touch. Within walking distance of Bunratty Village which was so convenient. Room was clean and comfortable and decor was very nice. The lounge was comfy. Overall a great experience! Close to Shannon airport too so travel is easy. "

"Our extended family needed this quiet stay. One thing- why are the rooms numbered like that? The visitors aren’t familiar with the older tradition for numbering the newer additions. Please change it"
