"We had a fantastic minimoon at Crinan!! Food is 11/10. Staff 11/10! Location is absolutely stunning. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. We had a room with a balcony and the views are out of this world. The boat trip on Ross Ryan’s boat The Sgarbh was incredible. We saw seals and Sea Eagles and sailed around the islands. This hotel is a true Scottish gem!"

"This hotel is quite run down. The room was not very clean, there isn't enough onsite parking, and there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night with no staff direction on where to go. Eventually the alarm quit and guests went back into the hotel but no staff directed the incident and no one communicated if/when it was safe to reenter. It was also a very hot day and the little fan in the room was old and had a loud rattle so could not be used when trying to sleep. Of our 2 week stay in Scotland, this was the worst accommodation. It is in a great location though."

We were in a room in the First House which was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the bath in the room added to the charm. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of cooked options. Would definitely stay again. "

"We loved this Croft for its remote location, cradled on the landscape by rocks with a stunning up close view of the sea. The Croft is equipped with modern amenities, and is both functional and tastefully decorated. Cell service is a bit weak until you stand outside where there is a strong signal."
