Walks into the forest straight from your door and facilities such as a shop/cafe and restaurant within a short walking distance. Can highly recommend the Kilchrenan inn as well, a short drive away for a special meal. Great food and kid friendly. We miss waking up to the Loch on our doorstep, made for a lovely...

"Lodge was great however the shower wasn't working, no hot water. We raised the issue with the property manager and to his credit he responded very quickly can came to the property to see if he could fix the issue. He couldn't but after a few calls advised that someone would be arriving to fix the problem and we would be contacted. We never received any call or update so decided to cut our holiday short and leave. The bathroom sink also started to leak which restricted where we could wash. Its...

"Lovely setting , Rowan Cafe was lovely and the staff were great. There is no food currently been served in the grill bar which is a shame but the bar was lovely was cosy. We had a few issues with the cabin but nothing to spoil our holiday."

"Looking to getaway for a few days this is the place with quiet spot along side the river bank and lovely walks beside you close to the town (couple miles ).if you need it and local store with all you need the only interaction we had was with the birds and the red squirrel (tuffty) who came around for a visit regularly great place for a short rest 😀"
