"Only stayed for one night for the private onsen experience & it was fantastic. Staff, hotel restaurant buffets were excellent. Only disappointment with the hotel was the beds - I booked a large room w/ western style twin beds but the beds were mattresses on a 4" raised platform Beds were comfortable but having bad knees & a sore back made it very difficult to get on/off them. Hubby & I had a good laugh rolling & crawling. There are really no attractions nearby - the botanical garden is in very sad condition but there is a 7-11 across the street and a great ramen restaurant down the street. It seems as though people come to this part of the city strictly to experience the onsen. We would probably stay here again just for that."

"Great location, easily accessible, walking distance to the Goryokaku Park & Tower, loads of dinner & snack options around the hotel. Many vending machines with lots of options in the hotel. Nice onsen on the 3rd floor. 1-day tram tickets available at the reception. Breakfast buffet is delicious with varied options and a good local spread. "

"The hotel is a bit older but still well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. What is definitely worth going there is the all-you-can-eat-dinner!! The quality of seafood to eat is just very hard to beat. All the sushi 🍣, sashimi 🍱 and other options available are just mouthwatering and of superb quality! The onsen bath (hot spring) is nicely equipped and spacious."

"This hotel is about 15 minutes away from the train station by bus, near Goryoukaku. It's close to the famous department store Marui, Star Share, and Mr. Doughnuts. There are many good restaurants near by and the airport bus stops a few minutes walk at Goryoukaku 3 bus stop. Great amenities, room was spacious, sauna and a complimentary alcohol beverage, breakfast and fresh coffee are included for the guests. Prices are very reasonable and I cant ask for more. Definitely 5 stars! "
