Bluebird Bungalow at the Lake
Clarksville, Virginia • Hot Tub & near the Lake!
10/10 Excellent
"This was a lovely stay in downtown Clarksville, just minutes from the lake! Our hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly. It’s a charming old house, and well worth a stay!"
"The house was all we could have ask for and more. The entire house was very clean and organized from the pots and pans in the kitchen, even had a blender and a crock pot to the towels in ever bedroom. The house was stocked with stuff that you may have forgot like tooth brushes or soap. Plenty of space in the living room and on the porches. Very nice beach area and dock. Very clean in the water at and around the dock. No close neighbors and plenty of wild life. And most importantly any communications with the host was answered Very properly and they were very helpful and extremely nice. Would definitely book again."
Lakefront Log Cabin on Beautiful Kerr Lake in downtown Clarksville VA
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful cabin for a family reunion. With our group traveling in from Maryland and California, this was a fantastic spot for everyone to gather and spend quality time together. The kids loved having access to both the pool and the lake, which kept them busy the entire time. The cabin itself is beautiful and offered plenty of space for two families to comfortably hang out. One of our favorite features was the enclosed patio. Equipped with a firepit table, comfortable chairs, and an overhead fan, it was the perfect spot for enjoying our mornings and watching the thunderstorms roll in.We loved the town of Clarksville too! It was an easy walk right across the water to catch some great live music at Buggs Island Brewing Company, and we made sure to grab some delicious ice cream at The Cottage Barn on the corner. For quick supplies, the nearby Dollar General had everything we needed to grab last-minute, and the Food Lion just a bit further down the road was great and cheaper for larger grocery runs.On top of that, the owners were incredibly accommodating with our requests during our stay from July 10th to the 12th. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!"
Solar powered cottage at lake, with dock, on private 300 acre timber preserve
10/10 Excellent
"This cabin is exactly as described. If you want to be away from people, Techno trappings and humanity in general to surround yourself with trees, deer and squirrels then this is your spot! Amenities are fine and few - but you are given what you need - do plan on bringing bed clothing and towels for the shower and extra for swimming. There is a floating dock a short, woodsy walk to the water and it is a perfect secluded area for swimming and taking in the beauty of the lake. Do pay attention to the power being used and if it’s warm - the top floor AC is enough to cool the entire house. If you are someone who doesn’t like bugs and critters maybe choose somewhere else - you ARE in the woods and there are bugs, spiders and ticks. The hosts are very easy to reach and got back to us quickly with answers to our questions. I recommend water shoes for the lake cause you never know where you may be sticking your foot, sunscreen and your love for nature."
