After our swim, my five-year-old nephew was cold, and Austin thoughtfully brought him a blanket so he could stay warm and comfortable at the restaurant. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture. Gonzalo was a true standout. He called me in advance to confirm my check-in and followed through with a warm welcome in person. He made sure I felt heard and taken care of throughout my stay. Initially, I booked from Tuesday to Thursday, but I extended my trip three times—first to Friday, then to Saturday, and finally to Sunday—because I enjoyed myself so much. The spa experience was phenomenal. I had two full-body massages and a facial. Francesca and Dewayne, the massage therapists, were amazing, and Lisan, who provided my facial, was kind and professional. Their attention to detail and ability to make me feel completely relaxed were deeply appreciated. One of the things I was most excited about was staying at a Black-owned hotel.
