The easy rules and instructions are on in the white binder and the house. Our cancellation policy is firm and highly suggest travel insurance. As you start planning your trip, we ask that you purchase trip insurance. Traveling to the Sierra mountains at any time of year has inherent risks and uncertainty, such as Covid, snow, air quality, fires, road conditions or personal health, or some other reason. As such, we expect our guests to mitigate these risks by purchasing trip insurance (in particular, "cancel for any reason" insurance). Due to health, safety issues, and PLACER COUNTY LAW we do not allow houses to go over the indicated maximum occupancy of 8. No smoking anywhere on the property. Must state legally...Any violation of this will lead to loss of deposit and/or loss of rental monies/fines as we will have to ask you to leave immediately. There is a fine of $1000 per over occupant per Placer County. We do not split up Friday and Saturday nights when staying less than a week. We ask you follow all easy rules in white binder. A motion camera on driveway/sideyard for safety as we live in bear country. Do not leave food in cars. We do not allow more than 3 cars without prior authorization. Please help the environment and traffic so everyone can enjoy this beautiful area for years to come. Please use the large metal garbage box (instructions in white binder) If you have created excess garbage that does not fit, you must take home or occur $200 fee. We are happy to give late checkouts and early check-ins when possible. Just ask! During peak times that is usually impossible, but again we love to accommodate when possible! Our house cleaning company charges $50 per half hour for late checkouts that are not pre-approved.
We cannot allow any pets at all due to the fact the homeowner's child has EXTREME allergies. Thank you in advance for understanding.
Any reservation over 30 days must be pre-approved with an additional application and credit check and California month-to-month residential lease and bi-weekly cleaning must added as extra service. Homeowner and potential client must speak in real life prior to booking any reservation over 30 days.
