Loads of charm and nostalgia. Decent food. Some staff are friendly, some just do their job. This is a very old building with few upgrades. Our room was a bit musty, washroom was dingy and there are no fridges or AC is any of the rooms.

The room was clean, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable. A box of tissues in the room would have been nice and if you are doing poached eggs they should be soft not hard. Overall a perfectly pleasant stay

The staff were lovely, very helpful. The bar/restaurant was also great, and great service and food. The hotel area was very clean and comfortable but dated and needs an overhaul badly, particularly the bathrooms.

Lovely

The room was lovely although a little dated. The bed was quite hard so didn't sleep very well. Thought there would have been some personal touches, i.e biscuits, facial tissues, water. Food was really nice, staff were very attentive and service was good.

Hotel room was a good size and comfortable. It had everything you would need for a short stay. It did specify there was a playground as an amenity, but we asked and there wasn't, only a field across the road. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The onsite pub was lovely, quiet, great food options. All the staff were fantastic very friendly. I would definitely stay again. Due to the nature of the building the water can be hit and miss and take a while to get right. No real issue at all though.
