Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa
Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed ...

Windermere Manor Hotel
Signs of deterioration on inside of exterior walls in room. I guess to be expected with the age. A bit offputting. All staff courteous and helpful, bar staffed as and when tbh. Isolated. A 2 mile rustic, pleasant, mainly downhill stroll to Bowness town centre. Taxi back haha. Overall a nice stay

A beautiful Cabin on the 5 star White Cross Bay in a quiet area of the park -
What a wonderful lodge. Clean, tidy and very welcoming. Perfect for our stay. Great site, with decent club house and located perfectly for local attractions. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

Lakeside 15 – Stunning Lodge on White Cross Bay, Lake Windermere (No Pets)
Lakeside 15 lodge was exceptionally clean and met all our requirements.The beds were comfy and the kitchen provided for all our needs. We have enjoyed our stay, the location and facilities were ideal.We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.
