"Lovely spot to stay in within easy striking distance of Barnstaple and North Devon and the coast. Beautiful part of the country with plenty to discover The pods are well maintained and very comfy. Fabulous large bed. Our dog loves lying out on the little balcony overlooking the balcony Staff were all friendly & helpful. Cooked breakfast was very good with locally soiurced produce. Nice strong coffee in tap with other buffet options. Good menu available for evening meals at reasonable rates...

"We had a great holiday, started with Andrew showing us to the log cabin to give us a quick run down of the lodge and supporting documentation, which we found really useful. Andrew then left stating if we needed any help with anything do not hesitate to call. The lodge was the cleanest and best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of. Views are amazing and wildlife abounds from birds to rabbits don’t forget to look out for the bats at dusk. Centrally based so easy...

"At some point these would have been lovely lodges. Location isnt easy to access but the views are lovely. The lodges need an update. Furniture grubby and shabby. The cleanliness of the place is not very good. With a deep clean and some things inproves they would be a lovely place to stay."

"Prima locatie dichtbij Exeter, Torquay en Dartmoor. De huisjes zelf zijn dringend aan een opknapbeurt toe. Onze keuken was vervallen, de apparatuur werkte wel, maar was zo oud dat we niet meer konden zien welke knoppen we moesten indrukken om eea te gebruiken. De douche en bedden waren goed, maar de rest vh meubilair was verouderd en aan vervanging toe. We konden niet op de bank zitten omdat deze doorgezakt was. De vloerbedekking zat vol met vieze vlekken."

"Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. They left very useful recommendations, which we followed and were not disappointed. The patio area is a lovely sun trap well into the evening. A bit more garden for our bigger dog would’ve been great,...
