"Lovely area, which we knew from childhood family visits. Loads for kids to do locally. Lots of nice local pubs with decent reasonable food. Great deli. House was perfect for us all. Comfy and spacious. Everyone was sad to leave. "

"Kitchen - no kitchen roll; kettle too small; no kitchen/anti-bacterial spray; lighting poor (gloomy) with no discernible switch for the under unit lights; dishwasher difficult to operate (no instructions); limited selection of pans. Parking - confusing instructions - should say can park outside just for loading/unloading and then park in car-park nearby. TV (in main living area) - instructions for watching "normal" TV did not work - no option "You View" available to select. Shower room - nowhere to put toiletries in shower, nowhere to put toiletries generally apart from the windowsill. Electric radiators - no instructions, one in main living area did not work. Main bedroom - poor lighting (only one bedside light), only one bedside cabinet. Local contact - no mobile signal in cottage so unable to contact."

"Rock House lived up to all our expectations and more. It couldn’t be situated in a more beautiful location with stunning views over the sea. Breakfast overlooking the ocean will be sorely missed as will the ‘secret door’ to the beach - our Narnia door as we called it! Couldn’t be more pleased with our week and just wish it had been longer! Our Canadian family absolutely loved it and the seaside villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are wonderful. Also the nearby Mount Edgcumbe Country Park is well worth a visit. Very well situated for trips further afield as well. Altogether Excellent"
