#50 Son's River Ranch Safari Cabin

With a Safari Tent Cabin rental, you and your guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of Son’s River Ranch which sits on the San Marcos River with its blue spring water and majestic tree studded banks. Sit ‘round the campfire at night and gaze at the big, bright, Texas starry sky! We are surrounded by large ranches which makes for a great outdoor get away from it all experience! Our Safari Tent Cabins are fully furnished and have everything you need to stay comfortable including foam mattress beds, linens and towels, kitchenette, comfortable outdoor furniture, hammock, firepit, picnic table, bbq pit and more! If you want to enjoy the great Texas outdoors without the setup and hassle of tent camping, while having all the creature comforts of home, our Safari Tents Cabins are for you! Safari Tent Cabins come with: 4 full sized beds with foam mattress and a futon couch. They also feature a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate with pots and pans and blender. We do not provide silverware and dinnerware, so be sure to bring these, though linens and towels are provided. For inside entertainment and relaxation, guests will find a smart TV & DVD player. Outdoor amenities include: comfortable wicker seating, hammocks, fire-pits, BBQ pits, picnic table, outdoor lighting, water and electricity. The unique design of our Safari Tent Cabins allows you to open up the entire back wall to enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience, perfect for eating, relaxing and reconnecting with your friends and family. There are two 6-unit bathroom trailers by our Safari Tents Cabins (12 full bathrooms in total with showers) for your use. Our Safari Tent Cabins sit up on a hill overlooking the river bottom and it is a quick walk down to the river. Guests are welcome to explore and use the many amenities of Son’s River Ranch including the numerous hammocks which are spread through the property, sand volleyball court, fire pits and more! There are 12 private, lockable full bathrooms located directly by the Safari Tent Cabins. You can park right by your Safari Tent Cabin. Between the Safari Tent Cabins and River, we have firepits for roasting s'mores while you enjoy the babbling sounds of the river and the fresh country air! We have staff, including a manger, and or maintenance man onsite at different times to make sure what ever you need is taken care of promptly. This cabin is a part of Son's River Ranch, a fun, relaxing property located on the gorgeous San Marcos R. w/ 50 cabins, 71 Cabanas & tube & kayak rentals! Guests from all over the state come to enjoy the spring-fed, blue water of the San Marcos River which has a consistent good flow, great fishing & is perfect for tubing & kayaking! The property is clean & well maintained & run by a friendly, professionally staff. The Cabin sits on a hill at Son's River Ranch overlooking the campground and it's an easy walk down to the water. By the river is where you will find the beachside lounge chairs for guest's use as well as our Riverside Covered Picnic Table and Cabana rentals. In the river area, you will also see our concessions trailer which is where you can rent tubes and kayaks and where the shuttle buses come to pick ups guests for tubing and kayaking. We are located in the country but we are easy to get to. There isn't much in the immediate area as far as restaurants and shopping so it's best to bring your own food and plan to cook and BBQ. We do have a convenience store and Dollar General located a few miles away as well a local favorite restaurant called Franks. A little further out you will find some of the best BBQ in the state in both Lockhart and Luling! If you head to Lockhart try Smitty's or Black's BBQ in Luling the place to go is City Market! Blue Lotus winery is also not far away as well as BS Brewery. The River and all amenities are within walking distance. You are welcome to bring bikes if you like. While at Son's River Ranch, rent a riverside cabana or covered picnic table for the day or evening and go tubing, kayaking or fishing! Contact to add any of these rentals on to your reservation.
