"We drove to the ryokan from Nagoya Centrair and had no problems finding it. Parking was free and it was conveniently located right next to the ropeway (which was great!). Food was delicious and the onsen was great too. The only negative feedback I have is that certain parts of the room was dusty and perhaps the room needs to be cleaned more. Otherwise, it was an very pleasant overall stay."

"It's our first time at an onsen ryokan, and overall it was a very pleasant stay! The receptionist that greeted us spoke English well and was very clear at explaining the facilities and answering any questions we had. She asked clarifying questions about our food preference so that adjustments can be made to the meals. My friend doesn't eat any raw food, we both don't eat spicy, and they made note of that. "The staff was very nice! They didn’t really speak english, but it was easy to communicate with them. The location is nice and the room was very authentic and pretty! The breakfast was nothing that we expected. It was awesome!! When staying here, you must eat breakfast here. Not an american style breakfast! Very very authentic japanese breakfast that we enjoyed very much. Great experience!! "

"Staff was incredible. Very helpful and friendly. The location is beautiful but the decor a little outdated. The room was very smokey but ok once we opened the window to air it out. The food was EXCELLENT. The outdoor onsen was my fave. I would stay here again despite the smokey room - just make sure you request a non-smoking room!"

"This Ryokan does not do food of any kind. Inaccurate description on expedia. It is close to everything in the area.. Yukatas provided are quite small. Onsen is small but adequate. Bit wear and tear but expected for old building. Staff where polite and helpful. "

"We were told the rooms are all smoking room. The cigarette smell was strong in our room so that was something we don’t really appreciate. The onsen facility was ok. The best was the one shared with the hotel next door."
