"Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent view. But the property is a bit tired and needs a little TLC. Was a bit odd that the ensuite didn’t have a toilet in it, and you had to go out in the hallway to a shared one. And in the downstairs, the toilet was separate to the bathroom, which only had a basin to wash your hands, so, they should have been in the same room, not 2 separate rooms? But, in saying that. We did like our stay, the staff were lovely. Ok distance from town. Walking down didn’t take too long, but back up the hill was a little struggle for the unfit. But, about a $10 uber fare, so that was great!"

"Room was very spacious, reasonable shower & bathroom with good amenities ie fridge, coffee/tea etc.. Booked a deluxe room with a lake view (which was just about in those parameters), but not full on view more like rooftop side view."

"Property is very nice and host is very nice. But I didn’t realize it’s a shared apartment, minor inconvenience. Also, if you can’t handle very soft bed, you should ask the host for help. They have the softest bed I ever stayed."

"Was very disappointed with our stay, photos looked beautiful. But when we arrived the rooms were average and the restaurant not accommodating. Was far too expensive for what we got we spent most of our time out of the hotel. Not good value for money and a shame compared to the other places we stayed in New Zealand "

"We got a small room with somewhat uncomfortable mattresses. Access to the shared bathroom required us to go outside at night. The shared kitchen was large and well equipped, but it needed a deep clean, and there was no hot water to wash the shared dishes. We were satisfied with our stay, but we expected more for the price we had paid."

"Sadly, this was the worst stay we have ever experienced anywhere. We were not informed by staff that the bathroom vent was faulty and could not be switched off. As a result, our sleep was severely disrupted, as the constant noise from the vent ran throughout the night. In addition, it’s unclear why this property is described as “apartments.” In reality, it more closely resembles a run-down motel. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend staying here"
