The hotel is what you pay for, rooms was a nice layout but the first room we had, had flies everywhere all over the bed and windows, second room we change to seemed that have mildew/ mold which mad it difficult to breath. Did not stay for the reservation and moved to a different hotel. The view is very nice but for health concerns wasn’t a good
My stay was only 1hr. There was no way that we were going to spend 2 nights there!
The rooms were bad .
One room had mold and mildew scent! The other room suite felt damp, never ventilated, with a minimum of 50 flies chilling, and congregating inside the room.
and the balcony had women hair on the tile, the tub had all of the dead insects you can think of enjoying the amenities.
We checked out and booked another hotel. The view is nice ... That's it.
We stayed here for our sunrise hike. Beautiful view! Amazing staff! They provide everything you need including transportation around town. Great quick stay!
It was very dirty. Mould everywhere, weird smell. Dirty and broken toilet. We stayed there for 4 days nobody cleaned the room. When we reached there and complained about the condition of room owner was so rude and almost threatened us. Only good thing was the view from hotel. But its very loud there constant noise of trucks. Food options were very few and kitchen was dirty.

Good place to view the mountains and Sun rise. A little bit noisy due to roads traffic.

Basic hotel with great views
Basic accomadation with great views. Prices in the restaurant were affordable.
If you want to visit mount batur, select a different hotel! We feel sad for the local people with those trucks getting the sand trough road right next to the hotel... it's not viable!

Mountain sunrise view room
It was amazing experience stay with mountain view. No aircon but never sweat due to cold temp at the location
I feel for the owners and the poor staff who work there. Trucks with gravel and sand are going up the very steep and dusty road every minute or so, only meters from the rooms. Everything is covered in white dust and the noise level is constant all day and night. Neither Internet nor TV worked.

Adequate Enough for a Batur Hike
Just stayed here for a night to do the Batur sunrise hike. Don't think I could've taken much more, but it is cheap and the view is spectacular. The bathroom had a very musty smell and was hard to bare, but maybe that's just me...Don't eat at the restaurant, they only had a select handful of things available and it was so bad, I couldn't even finish.
As far as hiking Batur, which is the only reason to stay here, it's a cheap place, with a friendly staff that can help set it up. They also have their own van for pickup/dropoff in another area.
On a side note, there is only wireless in the office/restaurant and maybe the closer rooms.
