"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpenruh!! Cannot say enough about this beautiful area! We had a perfect balcony looking across at the Monch Eiger and Jungfrau - you cannot beat that! Was so fun to see it at all times of the day and night. The room was spacious and very comfortable and it is right next to the Cable car, so very convenient for travelling the area and we were not bothered by any noise. We also had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant!"

"Well. What can I say. 5 stars from checking to leaving. The room itself & the hotel were perfect. Staff were kind & very helpful Dinner in the hotel restaurant was fantastic so much so we are there every night of our 3 night stay , ate something different each night & we’re not disappointed with the service or quality. I can understand the mixed reviews but we enjoyed the laid back , not rushed very European service …the staff were professional & knowledgeable regards the menu , wines & cocktails Facilities on offer were great & for us it was a fantastic base for our itinerary…lots to fo & see …we will definitely be back as we can’t wait to see it in Winter. "This hotel is located right next to Interlaken west train station so it's very easy to take trains or buses to sites. We booked the mountain view Superior room which actually looks over the train tracks but the room windows are pretty well insulated so the train wasn't very loud but you could hear it a little. We were pleased with this room as they were doing construction on the street on the other side of the hotel at the time of our stay. The hotel is new so it's very clean, and the buffet breakfast included is good as well."
