"This was easy to find, just off motorway so ideal as a stopover on way back to UK. We booked late so on arrival just had to pick up an envelope containing a key and check in form for the type of room we had booked. As others have said the rooms are tired especially the bathrooms but were clean. Bed comfy n good shower. Felt strange having no staff around. "Room was clean but dated, with random screw sticking 1 cm out of the floor carpet, creating a trip/cut hazard. Breakfast, which we paid for, was not served until 800 am, and we had to leave for the airport at 700 am, so received no breakfast. Not even coffee was available at 700 am, as far as we could tell. No gasthaus staff were present when we checked in at 600 pm or when we left at 700 am, and the restaurant was not operating. "

"The property is accurately described and the apartment is furnished with everything that is needed for an extended stay. It is an easy walk down the hill to Ellmau from the apartment. The mountain views from the apartment are spectacular. The owner is very easy to communicate with and always responds in a timely fashion. Our stay was for three days and we hope to return again.
