"This place has a kind of 'faded glory'. A nice property in a decent location, with free parking, friendly staff and plenty of local amenities, just needs some renovations. Pool is nice and gym is ok, but some machines need fixing. The view from our second floor room was stunning, we could see right across the city. Spacious room and comfy beds, although the sofa bed was complicated to set up and we never did work out how to close it. Decent self serve breakfast and washing machine in the bathroom came in useful, just be aware if you intend cooking for yourself there is just 2 pans, some plates, spoons and forks - nothing else, no utensils, cups, glasses... maybe you could ask the staff, we were only staying one night so no issue for us."
