Major issue was not being able to get a lounger at the spa, and when mentioned to the spa staff very little was done to help (there were many loungers not being used, and proper policing would have made this more enjoyable for all) A handful of others had the same experience. Overall, the spa overpromised and under delivered for us, but stay was otherwise flawless"

"Loved our long weekend at the Black Bull. Very busy pub, but as we were on the second floor no noise issues. Smashing Sunday lunch and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady behind the bar who checked us in. Only issue was no lift and the stairs are quite steep, so definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Would not hesitate to recommend and will stay again. "

"First, Allison and her staff were simple a delight. Always smiling, always helpful. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The bed made for a good night's sleep. And the breakfast was excellent. We'd absolutely recommend The Roxburgh to friends and family and would love to stay again! "
