"This was a great stay for our family. Two adults and 3 kids (two teens and a preteen) fit comfortably in one of the larger rooms. The rooms were simple, but clean and a great base for exploring the Lake District. Staff was very friendly and Breakfast was wonderful! "

"The cottage is warm, cosy and really well equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we loved the views and the tranquility. The beds are comfortable and there was masses of hot water - the shower is great. The host was really responsive to messages and extremely helpful. If we visit the area again this will be the first cottage on our list to book - it's ideal as a base to explore the area.Dhoon beach is just down the lane leading to the cottage and the perfect spot for a morning dog walk."

"Everything was walkable. Quite a few choices of cafes and restaurants. The people were very friendly. The suite was adorable. And if you like people watching, there is a park across the street that you can sit in your living room chair and watch life going on. Pete was very helpful and accessible. Thanks Pete."
