10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely stunning location down a long wooded driveway and nestled above the River Nith surrounded by magnificent trees . A historic castle type hotel with lovely grounds with access to the river and lovely river walks . Spacious rooms with antiques . Friendly warm staff . Epic dinner menu with a really good chef. Outside of property tired but doesnt impact your stay."
Hetland Hall Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful & impressive stately hotel in lovely surroundings , with well-appointed & well-furnished rooms. Got a very friendly welcome, and had requested a room with a view , if possible - and happily got one over looking the rolling countryside towards the Solway Firth. Breakfast was delicious, staff were very attentive, and meal set us up for our journey into the Lake District."
