"Staff was kind and helpful. Room was clean, but beds were a little too firm for my liking. Shower water was hot and had good pressure. No in-room mini fridge or microwave (but that may be standard in Europe). Decent breakfast buffet."

"We had a lovely short stay in this attractive stone pub with lots of character.. The location is perfect for Lancaster and the University nearby. The rooms are of a high standard and very clean. Food was good and staff pleasant and helpful. The lovely garden at the back was ideal for a relaxing pre dinner drink. Thank you, we will definitely recommend to our friends!"

"Didn't get a blanket for the sofa bed as requested, soap dispenser broken in shower, sofa not very comfortable, breakfast cutlery was dirty, tables not clean during breakfast, even though asked a lady to clean a table please, but didn't."

"Breakfast was very good. Room a bit small and no drawers to put any thing. Staffs are good. The only problem is they didn't make up my room even though I put up the sign."
