"Clean room convenient "

"Clean and good breakfast. A/C worked as expected. Lacked storage-hooks to hang coats but no closet. No separate place for suit case. Limited vanity space. Because of storms in the area, tv was in and out on reception. There appeared to be options for streaming on the TV but was unable to get them operational."

"Front desk staff was nice. The only light that worked was the vanity in the bathroom area. Weird smell out of the heater when I turned it on (guessing the room had not been used in a long time). Room and facility is REALLY dated"

"I did not feel safe rooming alone. The guy at the front desk was nice, but the overall vibe of the place was spooky. Do not come here if you are expecting cleanliness or comfort."

"This is a darling, cozy, and clean cottage. The grounds around it are very pretty and well kept. We were visiting for Truman State graduation and it was so convenient to be within walking distance of campus and our son’s apartment. I wish we would have found this gem years ago. "

"We loved our stay at the Base Camp Cottage. It was neat as a pin and decorated so cute! Communication from the host was great and check in was a breeze. The house was SUPER clean. Location was ideal - close to campus and downtown, neighborhood was quiet. We would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks so much!"
