"I stay here whenever in Kirksville. It’s a good hotel and I especially like the Costa Coffee in the lobby. I think, however, the breakfast needs some help. Both times we went for breakfast - first time late, around 9:10am and the second time early, around 7:45am - the eggs had burnt bits and the oatmeal was like paste. Also, the toaster was anemic. I tried to toast an English muffin and three times pushing it down produced no color and little warmth. The butter didn’t even melt."

"Location is convenient to Walgreens and Hy-Vee. On the main road of the city. Clean and cozy and even has a small backyard."

"Sleeps many people with two full bathrooms. No doors on sleeping areas, but the upstairs room is pretty well separated from downstairs. Walk out basement worked for my dog who does not like stairs. Kitchen was great. We enjoyed nearby Thousand Hills State Park. Gravel roads to and from cabin are pretty narrow, and rough after a big rain. Very private. Could see no neighbors, just lots of lovely trees, especially from raised porch. Probably not a good choice for toddlers unless watched closely since some pretty open railings."
