Staff were very helpful with any extras that we needed, parking was easy and location to supermarkets, cafes and lots of other shops was great.

Always stay at Braemar when we visit Palmerston North. So comfortable and quite. Lovely hosts.

Last-minute switch to this hotel from another that was not acceptable. Our expectations were not high but we were pleasantly surprised. Bed was very comfortable, room was very spacious. Small balcony outside. Road noise minimal. Bathroom very large and somewhat spa-like in Its furnishings. TV was good, internet was fast, a/c was working and good! Restaurants within walking distance. Good amount of local info in the room binder.

What a delightful motel and such friendly and helpful staff. We were glad we chose this property. It was convenient for walking downtown to the Rugby Museum and lots of shops. The room was well appointed and my husband said it had the most comfortable lounge chair/seating of any property we had been in during our month of travel. Great value with extra clean rooms and unexpected perks such as complimentary hot chocolate and shortbreads. Friendly staff at check in as well.

Clean, comfortable property nothing fancy, but easy to park. No restaurant or dining options on site, but there are a number of options close to the hotel on Waze at least a hotel on the opposite side of the road from where it actually is.

I accompanied my college age daughter for an overnight trip to this town, to visit the school. Af the a short trip from Auckland wearied at the hotel, settled in and spent much time walking around town. The hotel acted as our base, providing a nice quiet rest, good food, thoughtful service, and a very friendly and helpful staff.
