"We stayed here for 11 nights, intending to get some good rest, and it worked out wonderfully. The room was comfortable in every sense and met our somewhat picky requirements to the tee. The swimming pool is always clean and welcoming. The personnel went out of their way to accommodate our every request. Everything is clean & functional. Great breakfast choices every morning. The location is great, with biking or hiking trails/roads straight from the hotel. Everyone around was nice to us. The mountain views around are magnificent. The fitness room is small but adequate."

"Just returned from my 3rd stay at the Bard's Inn and it will not be the last. I absolutely love everything about this hotel. The location is prime. Very close to downtown shops and restaurants 1-3 minutes. 5 minute walk to Lithia Park. Staff is very friendly. Extremely quiet. I saw other guests but I didn't hear a peep from them the entire time from within my room. I traveled with 2 children this time around and they loved the pool and breakfast options. I've also stayed here solo and with my husband. It offers something for all travelers. I feel extremely safe and secure. The rooms are clean and as photographed. Parking is plentiful and secure. Highly recommend. Looking forward to my next stay already!"

"The Stratford is very reasonably priced and in easy walking distance to town and the theaters. We have stayed here while attending OSF many times starting in 1986. We appreciate having a small fridge and microwave in the room, plus Safeway right across the street. It is an older property but generally in good condition. "
