The hotel is seemingly focusing mostly on conferences and group trips, maybe not much for single visits. Wonderful staff at the reception and in the restaurant, yet it's open only for limited hours but doesn't send out any clear instructions to late-arriving guests. Few choices in the restaurant, but well prepared and creative food. Very well designed and cozy...

"Alles in allem haben wir einen schönen Urlaub verbracht, allerdings ist das Haus schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung war okay, aber wir hĂ€tten uns auf jeden Fall ein Gefrierfach gewĂŒnscht als Selbstversorger und ein Staubsauger hĂ€tte es uns auch sehr erleichtert. Haben tatsĂ€chlich noch nie erlebt, dass kein Staubsauger in einem Ferienhaus vorhanden ist. Das GrundstĂŒck ist groß, aber leider recht ungepflegt. Der Rasen wurde in den 14 Tagen nicht gemĂ€ht und war schon recht hoch als...

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen, ruhigen und entspannten Urlaub auf dem Holmesberg.Im sehr großzĂŒgigen Ferienhaus konnte jeder eine ruhige Ecke fĂŒr sich finden.Zentraler Punkt war der Wintergarten, der auch unser Lieblingsplatz wurde.Ca.15 Gehminuten entfernt (mit StraßenĂŒberquerung) war der See mit eigener Zuwegung nach 200m und Steg, Sauna und Grillplatz. Dies wurde unser 2. Lieblingsplatz.Zum Holmesberg 1 gehören 3 FerienhĂ€user, die in Familienbesitz sind. In unser 2. Woche waren wir allein....

"Vi var seks motorcyklister der var taget til Toftestrand hotel, pÄ en forlÊnget weekend. Efter indtjekning havde vi booket bord i deres dejlige restaurant, og fik serveret en middag, som bÄde var velsmagende og indbydende. Personalet var meget tilstedevÊrende og serviceminded, vi oplevede en service ud over normalen, og selvom vi inden ankomsten fik beskeden om at restauranten var lukket for de Þvrige gÊster grundet et stort bryllup, kunne vi takket vÊret en af de unge piger/tjenere, hente takeaway i form af en god og velsmagende pastasalat med kylling. VÊrelserne var pÊne og rene, bad og toilet faciliteterne ligesÄ, alt i alt en dejlig oplevelse. Jeg giver Toftastrand hotel min varmeste anbefaling, og vil helt sikkert indlogere mig pÄ dette skÞnne sted nÊste gang mc turen gÄr til VÀxjö."
