"The apartment itself was excellent: very clean, spacious, and well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped for basic meals, with essentials like washing-up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, plus tea, coffee, salt, and pepper provided.
Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the accommodation. We arrived mid-afternoon to find reception unattended and never found staff there despite returning several times before it closed at 8pm. There were people in the staff area, but we were not greeted or acknowledged, which made us feel unwelcome.
We also chose the property partly because Expedia lists communal laundry facilities, which we needed after a week of travel with a baby. We later discovered there is no self-service laundry, only a paid service, which was disappointing.
Although the property is family-friendly, no information was provided about cots or high chairs on arrival (because there was no one there and when staff were present we were ignored). When we eventually found someone to ask, the first high chair we received was dirty and missing straps, though the manager later replaced it with a clean one.
Overall, the accommodation itself was excellent and spotless, but the lack of staff presence, communication, and lack of any form of welcome (or effort to be made to feel welcome) let things down, significantly."
