"It was a terrible experience from start to finish. The flat reeked of smoke, communication with the host was awful, and to top it off, there were large spiders. I reported the issues to both Hotels.com and the host, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Would not recommend."

"Excellent value for the money! The flat has a perfect location. It is within walking distance to a supermarket, and two precious French towns, St. Louis and Huningue. Both towns have a pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, and shops. Colmar, France is 45 minutes away and the train station in Basil is about 6 km. "

"The apartment was clean and welcoming; it looked exactly like the photos. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the train station and an 18 minute walk to the grocery store. The host was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we required throughout our stay. He was accommodating, polite and extremely helpful when we needed it. We would definitely stay here again!"

"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "A very comfortable spot for our stay: pleasant sitting area, comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms. Easy to get to the #14 tram and onto a highly efficient public transport system. A COOP market and a coffee shop just one block away and a fine restaurant (Murano) a long block in the opposite direction. "

"The staff are very help full, room is big , clean, the hotel is near the mall it was good, there is one time though that we are asking for coffee and milk the reception said in ten minutes but they did not come at all ,stayed there for 3 nights"

"Excellent location right by Basel's Old Town, and there's a bus stop nearby with a bus that goes to the main train station. The rooms and beds are very modern and comfortable, the hotel is on a quiet street, and the breakfadt buffet is excellent. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel was a good affordable option for a quick stay in Basel. It was quite far from the train station, maybe 25-30 minute walk with suitcases. The hotel gave us Basel cards which meant the trams were free to use. The room itself was comfortable but needed some maintenance, the bathroom door didn’t close and the sink was blocked. "
