"We stayed at the Clarion Hotel Admiral in Bergen for three nights. This hotel was centrally located to many tourist attractions and about a mile away from the train station. "Despite an ongoing hospitality Union workers strike at the time, the front desk staff took exceptional care of my wife and me. Upgrading us to the Statsraaden was the highlight of our stay in Bergen. The breakfast was superb, as I’m certain dinners would’ve been as well, if they hadn’t been prevented by the strike. We genuinely look forward to returning."

"Its walking distance to Bryggen (less than 5min), there is a grocery store (bunnpris) 2min away. It was heat wave in Europe around the time we were in Bergen, and since most norway (& europe) accommodation do NOT have AC, we were able to borrow a small fan at the front desk which helped a lot.
