"AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX 2026
If you're looking for a quiet campsite, look elsewhere.
If you're still resilient enough to party until 3 a.m. and still make it to the race circuit the next morning - this place is for you.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and as up for a party as the guests, so you won't feel you're keeping them from their beds.
The toilets and showers are kept clean and stocked, and there are facilities for washing out saucepans and plates, tec.
On-site catering is good (even a vegan option) and the prices are better than those at the circuit.
Entertainment is also provided, icluding a very impressive juggler and a singer with a fantastic voice, during my stay.
On the downside, in Austria the site is up a steep hill from the main road.
If you only have the basic package, you don't get breakfast provided and have to wait until after 11 a.m. to access the showers. (Tip - have a shower when you get back from the circuit, after that hill-climb, you'll need it!)"
"I had a great stay at Flexy Motel in Spielberg.
What impressed me most was how easy everything was. The booking process was simple, and the self-check-in took only a few seconds. I was inside my room almost immediately.
The room was comfortable, functional, and very clean. The bathroom was spacious and included a nice bathtub. The portable air conditioner was especially appreciated, as it helped a lot during the hot weather. Everything was well prepared and spotless upon arrival.
There was no staff on site, but the entire process was so smooth and well organized that I never needed assistance. The autonomous concept worked perfectly.
My only suggestion for improvement would be better facilities for cyclists. The motel is located along popular cycling routes, and I imagine many guests stay here while traveling by bicycle. However, there was only a small bicycle parking area with limited capacity, and I ended up having to lock my bike to a post on the street.
Overall, an excellent and convenient place to stay. I would happily stay here again."
Chalet Luna - Modern but cozy chalet close to the slopes
10/10 Excellent
"Wir (Familie mit 4 Kindern) haben eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus verbracht und uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Whirlpool mit den bereitgestellten Badekugeln war ein echtes Highlight und hat unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Vielen Dank – wir kommen gerne wieder!"
"The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view over the fields and town of Zeltweg, to the mountains in the distance. The staff were polite and the breakfast was excellent as was the food in the restaurant.
I would have given this hotel five stars, however contacting anyone "after hours" was extremely difficult. My key card stopped working, unfortunately on a Tuesday night when the restaurant is closed. I came back from dinner at 8:30 pm and found the reception was closed and I could not get hold of anyone to fix the key card or let me into my room. The telephone numbers provided did not work and there was no bell push or button at reception to call anyone.
Fortunately, after two hours of trying to get hold of someone on the phone, another guest tried sending a message on Whatsapp and that managed to get the owner to come and fix the keycard problem. That was really not acceptable and spoiled an otherwise excellent stay."
"The room was comfy and large. The location and the view from the room was great. The breakfast was good. The only issue was that there was mold in the fridge."
