"Clean room"

"We were heading to Indianola, Iowa to visit Simpson College for a Freestyle Wrestling Tournament. Our club had reservations at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, so we booked there as well. When we arrived, we rang the bell and a gentleman came right out to assist us. We got our room cards and before we headed off he let us know that there were free cookies in the lobby. We didn't eat any, but thought it was a cool gesture. Our 1st floor room was huge! It was clean and we were satisfied with the look. It was similar to places we have stayed before. The thing that was a bit different was the handicap accessible features. Not a bad thing, but different with the walk-in shower without a tub. I was surprised there wasn't a soap holder in the shower. I could have used a bit more shower pressure also. The rest of the bathroom was what we were used to. Continental breakfast was available. This particular morning there were biscuits & gravy, scrabbled eggs, mini yogurt cups, toast, bagels, English muffins, a variety of cereals, waffles, a juice selection, and bananas. I kept it light with Cheerios, eggs, and yogurt. Diced tomatoes and onions were avaliable to add to the eggs and that was nice. We didn't get to use the amenities like the pool or fitness room. The pool was open, but with the long day ahead there was no swimming on the short trip. I was bummed that the fitness room was out of commission because I needed a weight session but that was the only negative of the stay."

"Staff friendly. We paid for a suite but didn't have a couch as previously when we stayed and paid for a suite. We have sleep issues so get a suite to help with that. Plus my husband wanted to watch NCAA basketball on a couch not the bed!!!! We stayed in February and the swimming pool was closed. It still was closed. Grandkids were looking forward to swim!!!!"

"The County Inn was very cleaned. The rooms and the parking lot was cleaned well maintenance. The front desk very cleaned and the building nice. The only thing I would suggest update the breakfast for large crowds and have plenty of food for ur guest staying. Too bad you couldn't remodel the kitchen and the seating in dinning area for large crowds. Buffet instead of what u have its ok for small crowds. Large crowds u need to use big portions."

"Amazing stay. It was very relaxing and cozy. Loved the fireplace and the bed was so comfy! Host was very attentive and did so many extra things for us. We felt very spoiled. Can’t wait to go back in the warmer months to enjoy the covered porch and rocking chairs. "

"Rooms were clean but broken. Chair arms were broken. Tv was very difficult to operate. Chair sunk from long wear. Definitely needs undated furniture. Not worth price. Not continental breakfast. "
