Absolutely perfect stay. Their attention to detail is incredible. The complimentary afternoon tea was unexpected and a beautiful touch. Breakfast on your private veranda was lovely with the most fantastic view. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Knysna.

One of the most stunning places we've ever stayed at. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, with a lot of great attention to detail (welcome drink, chocolate and fruits in the room, breakfast wishes). The room was spacious, modern and very beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the landscape. Can highly recommend THEBLOEM.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with room patios that have a spectacular view overlooking the knysna heads. It is set on top of a hill but an easy walk to the mall and waterfront restaurants (not such an easy walk back!) Although the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are a strange shape, and it would have been better to have a sofa in the room instead of the swivel chairs. Also, the bathroom door should be of full length instead of 3/4 length for privacy. Breakfasts were amazing and service was super attentive. The little treats at turndown, the complimentary tea and cake every afternoon at the sister hotel, and the complimentary drinks at happy hour from 7 to 8 made this a very pleasant stay. The owners were very friendly and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Ich wusste nicht, dass man einen Roman schreiben muss, sonst hätte ich darauf verzichtet eine Bewertung abzugeben. Das Angebot aber ist wirklich gut. Unbedingte Empfehlung.

Einfach nur Super!

Wir verbrachten 3 Nächte im The Bloem. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und toll eingerichted. Die Aussicht über die Bucht von Knysna einfach super. Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker. The Bloem hat sich 5 Sterne verdient. Wir können diese Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Ein grosser Dank dem ganzen Team für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Truly exceptional place

What a wonderful place to stay. Attention to detail is the very best I have ever experienced. Staff and owners are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were looked after like royalty. We had suite 4 which has the best outlook from its raised decking and great to have breakfast out on in the morning.
